Gem County Speed Shooters - GCSSGCSS is a USPSA affiliated club devoted to promoting the safe and legitimate use of firearms. Practical pistol matches are held rain or shine on the fourth Sunday of each month at the Gem County Rod & Gun Club, located just east of Emmett, Idaho and about 25 miles northwest of Boise. All steel / fun matches are held on the second saturday of each month. Match setup takes place at 8:15 on match day. Match registration is from 8:15 - 8:45 and the walk through begins at 0900 sharp. Eye and ear protection are required for all shooters and all spectators. Match fees are $7 for USPSA matches and $5 for steel / fun matches. Contact Information Idaho Society of Practical Shooters - ISPSIdaho Society of Practical Shooters holds regular USPSA matches on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Nampa Rod & Gun Club range in Nampa. Setup is from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. - please come out and lend a hand or two! Registration runs from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Matches start at 10:00 a.m. First time shooter shoot for free, $10 per match otherwise. For more information contact: Parma Rod & Gun Club - PRNGC.PRNGC is Idaho's newest practical shooting club and is affiliated with the United States Practical Shooting Association ( www.uspsa.org ). PRNGC holds USPSA matches on the third saturday of each month. Setup begins at 8:30 AM, shooter registration at 9:30 AM and the match will begin at 10:00 AM. We usually run five stages including a USPSA Classifer and the total match requires about 120 rounds. Matches usually consist of six stages with a classifier, usually 2 short, 2 medium and 2 long courses, and average 120 rounds. Setup begins at 8:30 AM, shooter registration at 9:00 AM and the match will begin at 10:00 AM. New shooters shoot their first match free, matches cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
